Strong Power with Fast Response

The WP4 offers a torque reserve between 20% and 35%, giving the engine strong low-speed pulling force and smooth acceleration. Because of this design, vessels can start faster, change speeds more quickly, and maintain stable power even under varying sea conditions.

Fuel-Efficient and Cost-Saving

The fuel system, turbocharger, and intake–exhaust layout are well matched, which helps the WP4 lower fuel use during common working conditions. Moreover, the optimized combustion chamber and improved air–fuel mixing ensure full combustion, reducing the overall fuel consumption and daily operating cost.

Smooth, Quiet, and Cleaner Operation

Through detailed NVH improvements, the WP4 reduces vibration and noise to create a more comfortable working environment. At the same time, the engine meets IMO Tier II and China Stage I emission rules, while the electronic-control version can also meet China Stage II requirements.

Practical, Compact, and Easy to Install

The WP4 supports optional LCD smart gauges for real-time monitoring of engine speed, water temperature, oil temperature, and oil pressure. When a parameter goes beyond its limit, the system can give alarms and stop the engine automatically. In addition, its compact structure makes engine-room installation easier, and its stable performance fits many vessel types such as fishing boats, small cargo ships, patrol boats, and workboats.
