The Weichai WP3.2 25–36.8 kW marine engine is built on the new Weichai Sharp Power platform with a fully redesigned block, cylinder head, pistons, and bearings. In addition, Weichai’s global supplier network ensures consistent and dependable quality for all major components. The engine is assembled in a dust-free, constant-temperature workshop and tested on high-precision benches to ensure long-term reliability for daily marine use.

Strong Power with Steady Output

The WP3.2 delivers strong torque in the low and middle speed range, which helps provide smooth and continuous power. Moreover, the electronic-control unit manages injection with high accuracy, keeping injection pressure high and supporting fast acceleration. At 50 percent of the rated speed, the engine can reach 95 percent of its rated torque, giving small vessels stable pulling power when needed.

Fuel-Efficient with Low Operating Cost

With an electronic high-pressure common-rail system, the WP3.2 controls injection with great precision and widens the engine’s economic working range. Its minimum fuel consumption reaches 196 g/kW·h, helping reduce daily fuel cost. In addition, the oil change interval of more than 500 hours lowers maintenance frequency.

Smooth, Quiet, and Environmentally Friendly

The engine uses multi-stage electronic injection to reduce vibration and noise, reaching an idle noise level of 74 dB(A). Furthermore, its NVH-optimized layout includes a gear-room cover, cylinder-head cover, and a closed flywheel housing to reduce noise leakage. With a reinforced block and offset piston-pin structure, the WP3.2 offers lower vibration than many similar engines. It also meets China Non-Road Stage III emission standards.

Practical Features for Easier Marine Use

The WP3.2 supports the “Vessel-Link” smart terminal, which offers maintenance reminders and remote service support. At the same time, its water-jacket exhaust manifold and tailpipe help reduce engine-room temperature. Optional items such as the smart LCD gauge, seawater pump, and vibration-isolating mounts allow the engine to fit many different vessel needs.
