The SDEC SC4H auxiliary engine is built on the SAIC platform and uses a high-strength alloy cast-iron block, a forged crankshaft, an integrated cylinder head, and a rear gear chamber. These durable parts raise product quality and allow the engine to reach an overhaul cycle of more than 20,000 hours, giving users long and stable operation.

The engine uses a four-valve design and high injection pressure to improve air intake and combustion. Because of this, it offers clean performance, high power density, and a solid power reserve.
