High Reliability from the SAIC Platform
The SDEC SC4H emergency engine comes from the SAIC platform and uses a high-strength alloy cast-iron block, a forged crankshaft, an integrated cylinder head, and a rear gear train. These features raise product quality and give the engine an overhaul life of more than 20,000 hours.
Strong Power and Better Fuel Efficiency
The four-valve design and high injection pressure help the engine take in more air and burn fuel more completely. As a result, it delivers cleaner emissions, higher power density, and a fast response when the load rises suddenly. At the same time, the fuel-use curve stays smooth, which helps lower fuel cost.
Compact Structure with Improved NVH
Its modular layout makes the engine compact, light, and easy to place in a tight engine room. It also uses high-precision low-noise gears and a vibration-damping main-bearing support plate, which lowers noise and vibration and improves comfort.
Wide Adaptability with Flexible Options
The engine adapts well to different marine working conditions because its configuration can be tuned for various needs. It also starts reliably at –15°C. Users can choose many options, such as different start systems, output interfaces, exhaust pipes, and fueling layouts.
Easy Maintenance and High Uptime
The SC4H uses integrated parts and has fewer wear items. Its wear-resistant valve system and fracture-split connecting rods help extend service intervals. Because of this, maintenance stays quick and simple, and the engine keeps a high uptime.
