The genset uses a six-cylinder, 5.9-liter inline diesel engine with turbocharging and charge-air cooling. A heavy-duty alternator with low-reactance 2/3-pitch windings ensures stable voltage and low waveform distortion — even under non-linear or fault loads — delivering reliable performance when powering motors or mixed industrial loads.
The standard control system uses Cummins PowerCommand electronic control, enabling automatic remote start and stop, accurate voltage and frequency regulation, output metering, alarms and status display, and automatic shutdown in case of a detected fault.
Cooling is provided by an integrated radiator system mounted on the set. This reduces installation complexity and ensures consistent engine temperatures under continuous or variable load conditions.
Due to its balance of power, reliability, and versatility, the 6B5.9 genset suits a wide range of uses — from small to medium-sized manufacturing plants, commercial buildings, workshops, to emergency or standby power for critical systems. Thanks to its compact structure and industrial-grade design, facility managers can trust it for stable 50 Hz output with minimal fuss and consistent long-term performance.
