1995 – CCEC – Chongqing Cummins Engine Company established in Chongqing.
CCEC is a 50:50 joint venture established by Chongqing Machinery & Electric Co., Ltd. and Cummins Inc.
Manufacturing: M11/QSM11, X12/13, Z13, NT855/QSN, M15, K19/QSK19, K38/QSK38, and K50/QSK50 series engines, as well as 19L–50L natural gas engines and the K19M methanol engine.
CCEC is the only Cummins large-horsepower engine R&D and manufacturing base in China, specializing in diesel and natural gas engines from 185 to 3,650 hp, serving heavy trucks, construction & mining, oil & gas, rail, port machinery, pumps, marine engines, and generator sets.
1996 – DCEC – Dongfeng Cummins Engine Co., Ltd established in Xiangyang, Hubei Province.
Dongfeng Cummins Engine Co., Ltd. (DCEC) is a 50:50 joint venture established between Cummins Inc. and Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd. in 1996.
Manufacturing: B, C, D, L, M, and Z series engines compliant with China V emissions standards for on-road applications and China III standards for non-road applications.
Engine displacement ranges from 2.5 to 15 liters, with power outputs from 80 to 770 hp, serving light commercial vehicles, medium- and heavy-duty trucks, intercity and city buses, construction machinery, marine main and auxiliary engines, and generator sets.
2007 – XCEC – Xi’an Cummins Engine Co., Ltd established in Xi’an.
XCEC is a 50:50 joint venture between Cummins and Shaanxi Automobile Holding Group.
Manufacturing: ISM11, M13, and M15 series engines, as well as off-road QSM11 engines, compliant with China V/VI (Euro V/VI) emissions standards.
Products are widely applied in light-, medium-, and heavy-duty trucks (tractors, dump trucks, cargo trucks, and specialty vehicles), intercity and premium buses, construction machinery, and generator sets, serving both domestic and international markets.
2008 – BFCEC – Beijing Foton Cummins Engine Co., Ltd established in Beijing.
Established in 2008, Beijing Foton Cummins Engine Company (BFCEC) is a joint venture between Cummins (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd., with each party holding a 50:50 equity stake.

GCIC is a 50:50 joint venture between Cummins (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and Guangxi Liugong Machinery Co., Ltd., dedicated to diesel engines for construction machinery.
Manufacturing: B-series (B7/QSB7), L-series (L9, L9.3, L9.3 Plus), and QSL series (QSL9, QSL9.3) medium-horsepower engines compliant with non-road Stage III/IV emission standards.
GCIC engines serve a wide range of construction and mining equipment, including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, underground trucks, pavers, milling machines, multifunctional drills, and forklifts, supporting applications across infrastructure, ports, tunneling, and high-altitude operations.
2018 – ACPL- Anhui Cummins Power Co., Ltd, established in Anhui.
Anhui Cummins Power Co., Ltd. (ACPL) was established in December 2018 as a 50:50 joint venture between Cummins and Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co., Ltd. (JAC Motors).
Manufacturing: B2.5/B3.0, E2.5/E3.0, and 2.7L/2.8L light-duty truck engines; B4.0/B4.5 FE engines for medium- and heavy-duty trucks; and E2.8 off-road engines for construction machinery, generator sets, and marine applications.
ACPL products serve both on-road markets—including light-duty and medium- to heavy-duty trucks and new energy vehicles—and off-road sectors such as construction machinery, marine, and power generation.
