SAIC Platform with High Reliability
The SDEC SC7H auxiliary engine is built on the SAIC platform and uses a high-strength alloy cast-iron block, a forged crankshaft, an integrated cylinder head, and a rear gear chamber. These strong core parts raise product quality and allow the engine to reach an overhaul cycle of more than 20,000 hours. With this solid base, the SC7H supports long and steady marine service.
Strong Power with Efficient Fuel Use
The four-valve design and high fuel-injection pressure help the engine improve air intake and combustion. As a result, it delivers clean performance, high power density, and a generous power reserve. It also accelerates quickly when the load rises. Moreover, the fuel-use curve stays smooth in common operating ranges, which keeps fuel consumption low.
Compact Layout with Excellent NVH
A modular design keeps the engine compact, light, and easy to place in many engine rooms. It uses high-precision low-noise gears and a vibration-damping main-bearing beam to reduce noise and vibration. Because of this, the engine runs smoothly and helps improve comfort on board.
Strong Adaptability with Rich Options
The SC7H adapts well to many marine conditions. It supports cold starts at –15°C and offers multiple choices for start methods, output interfaces, exhaust pipes, and filling positions. With these options, the engine meets the needs of different vessels and duty types.
Easy Maintenance with High Uptime
The engine uses integrated component groups and fewer wear parts. Its wear-resistant valve-train design and fracture-split connecting rods help extend the service interval. As a result, users enjoy simple maintenance, long uptime, and lower service costs.
