Strong Power with Flexible Speed Options

The 6M33 engine offers wide power coverage and a torque reserve of more than 20%. It provides both low-speed and high-speed versions to match different vessel types. The low-speed version delivers higher torque in the mid-to-low speed range, making it ideal for working vessels that require strong pulling force. Meanwhile, the high-speed version maintains higher torque at mid-to-high speeds, offering better acceleration and fast-sailing performance. This flexibility helps shipowners choose the best configuration for their specific marine conditions.

Fuel Efficient and Cost Saving

Weichai developed low-speed and high-speed versions of the 6M33 based on various operating needs. The low-speed version achieves lower fuel consumption in the mid-to-low speed range, and the high-speed version runs more efficiently at mid-to-high speeds. The 6M33 achieves a vibration severity level not higher than 21.2, and optional vibration isolators further improve comfort for crew and passengers. The engine meets IMO Tier II and China Stage I emission standards, while electronic-controlled versions also comply with China Stage II regulations. Practical and Easy to Maintain

A pre-lubrication pump provides two useful functions: supplying engine oil before start-up and removing used oil, making oil changes faster and cleaner. The modular design of the oil cooler and filter creates a compact structure that simplifies installation and engine-room layout. A side inspection window allows quick maintenance access, and the overall design remains neat and easy to manage.
