The WP3N offers strong torque in the low and middle speed range, allowing the engine to deliver continuous power under varying conditions. Its electronic-control unit provides precise injection control with high pressure, which improves acceleration response. At 50 percent of the rated speed, the engine can reach 100 percent of the rated torque, helping vessels handle load changes smoothly and safely.

Fuel-Efficient with Lower Operating Cost

The injection pressure, timing, and fuel quantity are finely adjusted to ensure better atomization and clean combustion. Because of this optimization, the WP3N maintains a wide economic fuel range and reaches a minimum fuel consumption of 193 g/kW·h. In addition, the oil change interval of 500 hours or more reduces maintenance frequency and overall running cost.

Smooth, Quiet, and Clean Operation

The engine uses a rear gear chamber and a closed flywheel housing to reduce mechanical noise effectively. Moreover, the strengthened block design and offset piston pin lower vibration levels, keeping the overall NVH performance ahead of similar models. With multiple electronic-control injections, the WP3N significantly reduces vibration and noise, achieving an idle noise level of 74 dB(A). It also meets China Stage II emission standards.

Practical Features with Modern Smart Functions

The WP3N supports optional equipment such as vibration-isolating mounts, a water-cooled exhaust pipe, and a dedicated LCD smart gauge. It also connects to the Weichai Smart Cloud platform for big-data analysis and remote diagnostics. With the marine smart terminal, users receive timely maintenance reminders. In addition, the compact structure and multiple signal-control options make the engine easy to integrate into automated vessel systems.
